Jonathan Kahn is a seasoned psychoanalyst and psychotherapist with over two decades of clinical experience in private practice, working with adults, couples, adolescents, and parents. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, social adjustment issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. His approach is also sought after for addressing presentation anxiety and stage fright.
Jonathan’s clinical foundation was built through roles at the Theodor Reik Consultation Center and the Washington Square Institute for Mental Health. In addition to his private practice, he has been an active educator and workshop leader, delivering impactful lectures on stress management and performance anxiety at institutions including Yale University, SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of New Jersey.
His writing has appeared in Westside Spirit, Newlife Magazine, Academic Radiology, and The Choral Journal, offering expert insights into mental health and performance challenges.
A graduate of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis, Jonathan also holds degrees from the University of Illinois and the Eastman School of Music, reflecting a lifelong interest in the intersection of creativity and psychological wellness. He is a current member of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work.
